The Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Progam offers two pools of funding for projects in the watershed.
The Ashokan Watershed Implementation Program offers mini grants, matching grants and grants to watershed municipalities. The program is administered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County. Eligible applicants include non-profits, schools, towns and other government entities.
The Catskill Streams Buffer Initiative, offers financial assistance for planting projects on streamside property and is administered by Ulster County Soil and Water Conservation District. Streamside landowners (public and private) are eligible.
